DB Side-By-Side Tutorial
1. Start the program

2. At first, your library of xml snapshots is empty.

3. To create an xml snapshot of a database's structure you need to connect to the database. First, identify how you are going to connect to the database.

4. Then select the database.

5. The system creates an xml file that captures the structure of your database.

6. Now that you have xml snapshots in your library, you can compare any two databases or you can compare the same database as it existed at two different times.

7. The program quickly displays summary information concerning how the databases are the same and how they are different.

8. You can then view details of the comparison. Differences are highlighted in red. Information that is exclusive to a single database is highlighted in blue.
